Decisions Made

• JPEG at 0.9 quality: Balance between file size and quality for uploaded photos
• Default back camera: Most users will photograph paper notes, back camera is more useful
• Stop camera after capture: Save battery while user reviews photo
• Full-screen modal: Typical camera UI pattern, black background

Deviations from Plan

Task 2 merged into Task 1: All feature detection and error handling was implemented as part of Task 1 since it made more sense to build the complete component with proper error handling from the start rather than retrofitting it.
